Hepta’s Panthenol cream is less a cosmetic treatment than a first-aid cream for skin: mild sunburn, irritation after hair removal, redness from cold weather, and severe dryness anywhere on the body.

What is panthenol?

Panthenol is the alcohol form of vitamin B5. Applied to skin it converts to pantothenic acid, a core component of the skin repair process. That is why panthenol appears in post-tattoo and post-laser products and in nappy rash creams.

Three jobs

• Soothing: quickly reduces redness and burning sensations.
• Hydrating: draws in moisture and holds it in the skin.
• Protecting: forms a layer that shields skin while it repairs itself.

When to use it

After long sun exposure, after waxing or shaving, on skin chapped by cold, on very dry elbows and knees, and on sensitive skin irritated by a product that proved too strong.

How to use

Apply a thin layer to the affected area two or three times a day until the irritation clears. Safe on face and body, at any age.
