Urea: a moisturizer that works two ways
Most moisturizers work one way: they either draw water into the skin or stop it evaporating. Urea at 10% does both, and adds a third function — it dissolves the bonds between dead skin cells, so the scaly layer sheds gradually.
Why 10% specifically?
At low concentrations urea acts only as a moisturizer. At 10% it also begins working as a gentle exfoliant, which is the right strength for very dry, scaly skin without the harshness of the higher concentrations used medically.

How to use
Apply a layer to the dry area once or twice daily, massaging until absorbed. For faster results on heels, apply a generous layer in the evening and put on cotton socks.
Precautions
External use only. Avoid open wounds and inflamed skin. Slight stinging is possible on deeply cracked skin and is temporary.
